Return to the Palette

It is said that a writer paints pictures with words, and in that sense, I try to do that every time I write. When I write for sport, I don't want it to sound crappy, and every time I write I try to make some kind of point that I've probably been thinking about for awhile. For those of you who are avid readers of my blog, I apologize that I have been away for so long. I've indeed had a lot on my mind, and have wanted to write volumes on the things I've seen, been witness to, and the things I've been a part of. As I said earlier though, I'm not going to turn out crap, and my absence has been not without due cause. The last month of school was a whirlwind, and I'm just now catching up to my free time when I can actually write decent things.

To my adoring public, I cannot be grateful enough. I have received so many compliments on my writing. So much so that I am being encouraged to continue to pursue writing in the future, perhaps as a career move. I have indeed thought about this, and as it is a growing love of mine, I will probably continue to in some way, shape, or form. But to my adoring public, I must also retrieve my aforementioned apology.

As long as I've written, I've never really had an audience that I have thought about. And so, when I write, I write solely for myself. Therefore, you must understand as the reader, that I regulate myself to no censor, no time frame, and no objectivity whatsoever. I'm writing only what I think and nothing more.

That being said, I hope you have enjoyed the entries which I have placed before you. And as much as I hate to admit it, I hope you do keep reading along in the future.
